Adding custom error pages

Table of Contents

You can customize your website’s error pages from the standard server error pages very easily through cPanel.

Once you’re logged into cPanel, search for Error Pages (it’s located under the Advanced heading).

Select the domain or subdomain you wish to edit the error pages on. You can select one of the more common error messages or any additional error message. Note: the uncommon error pages are very rare and may never be seen. We recommend customizing only the common errors (401, 404, etc.).

On the following page you can then begin to customize. You can use any valid HTML and CSS. We don’t recommend JavaScript, but you can also include it here as well.

Once you’re done, click save and now your custom error page is live!
